INDIANAPOLIS — Jack Harvey was forced to miss the last NTT INDYCAR Series race at the Texas Motor Speedway due to not being cleared to return to his cockpit after a practice crash the day prior. Now, with a couple of weeks off between races, its been enough time to get him cleared.
Rahal/Letterman/Lanigan Racing announced on Thursday that Harvey has been cleared by the INDYCAR medical staff to drive his No. 45 Honda in next weekend’s Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Harvey, is in his first season at RLL but third full time season in the sport. He finished 13th in the season opener at St. Pete before missing Texas a couple of weeks ago. Santino Ferrucci filled in for him and brought the car home solidly inside of the top 10 that day.
