Race Review Online was started in 2012 with the goal of being a one stop shop for all your racing needs. Luke Krmpotich and Eric Smith were writing for Bleacher Report when they decided to go out on their own and form their own racing website. Since that endeavor, RRO has been recognized as accredited members of the motorsports media.

Eric, holds an annual hard card for both IndyCar and NASCAR to cover their entire seasons in person. He will also pick up NHRA, USAC and other various forms of motorsports to be on site to cover throughout the year as well.

Eric has been in numerous publications and a guest on several radio shows including BBC Radio in England. He is a regular guest on Prime Sports NASCAR and contributes to COVERS for their racing needs too. He’s been a huge racing fan all of his life as he started going to the Indianapolis 500 at the age of 2 1/2 and has only missed one single year (1991) since, although he’s traded his grandstand seat for one in the media center. You can find him in press boxes or media centers at the race tracks on most given weekend’s.

Jim Smith was hired on last year to write historical columns for the site as he’s been around the United States for years following motorsports. Among his favorites is the Indy 500 as he’s not missed one since 1959.
