Prime Sports NASCAR – weekly fantasy team standings leaving Richmond and heading to Bristol

CJ scored the big win on Saturday night in Richmond for his 12th victory in 28 races this season. He extends his points lead by 100 with 400 points accumulated via Martin Truex Jr’s fourth victory of 2021. He also got third from Christopher Bell, sixth via Kyle Larson and eight by Kevin Harvick.

Eric meanwhile got 300 points with runner-up Denny Hamlin, fourth place Chase Elliott and fifth placed Joey Logano. Between he and CJ, took the top 5 of the top six finishers and 6 of the top 8.

Greg’s best driver was Ross Chastain (3rd), 9th (Kyle Busch)and 10th (Ryan Blaney).

Next up is Bristol for a triple points challenge. This may be a good race for Greg with Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch combining to win 4 of the last 6 there. Younger brother has a top four in each of his last four Bristol starts including 3 of which in the top 2. He’s only had 1 top five in the last six on the season though. Older brother has 4 top 10’s in his last 5 on the same track and 3 top sixes in his last five on the year. Ross Chastain (2 straight top 5’s on the year) also may figure into things.

Ryan Blaney (1 top 5 last 11 in Bristol) and Alex Bowman (4 straight at Bristol of 15th or worse, 1 top 5 last 11 on season) may not fare as well for him though.

Eric has Chase Elliott (3rd, 5th, 7th last 3 Bristol night races), Denny Hamlin (2 straight top 2’s on the season, 45% of laps led, 2019 winner of this race), Joey Logano (7 top 10’s last 11 at Bristol, 8th, 5th in playoffs) and Aric Almirola (5th last year) and Tyler Reddick (4th last year) who could be nice factors.

CJ has the only other winner in the last six (Brad Keselowski) at Bristol as well as Kyle Larson (4 top 6’s, 2 of which runner-ups in last 6 at Bristol) who could contend. Martin Truex Jr. (last top 5 at Bristol, 2012) and Kevin Harvick (1 finish better than 4th all year, 1 top 5 last 7 at Bristol) who may not.
