Kaulig Racing will bring their third car back out for next month’s Food City Bristol Dirt Race. They attempted to make this past year’s Daytona 500 with it, but Chandler Smith was one of two DNQ’s. Now, the No. 13 Chevrolet will be piloted by dirt star Jonathan Davenport at the Bristol (Tenn) Motor Speedway.

Davenport enters this opportunity on the heels of a historic year. He won more than $2-million in 2022 including the Eldora Million. The 39-year-old had an astounding 24 trips to victory lane last year including the XR Super Series championship.

Among his 24 victories last season, nine of the 24 paid at the very minimum $50k.

The Iowa native has won the World 100 in Eldora five times including last year to go along with a 2022 win in the Knoxville Late Model Nationals.
