There’s been several recent driver and team updates to the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, so let’s take a look at where things stand a little over a month from Speedweeks down in Daytona.
We know the top 2 from last year’s final standings are Cup bound as is 3 of the top 5 overall in the final order. However, 13 of the top 16 are back though. As is Cole Custer who returns to SHR’s Xfinity Series program. John Hunter Nemechek will run the full slate with JGR. Sammy Smith and Chandler Smith move up from ARCA and the Truck Series ranks.
Just became the Xfinity Series has produced a lot of talent that has graduated up to Cup, it doesn’t mean the 2023 season will lack talent.
