Prime Sports NASCAR – weekly fantasy team update leaving Darlington and heading to Kansas

CJ picked up the unlikely win via Erik Jones in Sunday’s Southern 500 at Darlington. What’s wild is, he’s his only driver in the top 5 as CJ had 3 drivers that had finished 30th or worse. Greg ended up with the best night with 4 of his 7 drivers in the top 10 including 2 of which in the top 5.

Eric had 2nd and 4th but they were his only top 10 finishers.

Now we go to Kansas for the 2nd playoff race of the season.

Hollywood Casino 400 Live Trends
• The eventual race winner scored stage points in every first stage under the stage era with the exception of May.
• The eventual race winner finished in the top 2 in 4 of the last 7 first stages. Both winners last year won the opening stage.
• The eventual race winner finished in the top 5 in 5 of the last 6 2nd stages and 8 of the 11 overall second stages.
• The odd thing is, just twice has the eventual race winner at Kansas actually won a second stage (2019 playoff race, May 2022).
