AVONDALE, AZ — StarCom Racing confirmed the news that’s been speculated for most of this past season that they’ll scale back their operation for the 2022 NASCAR season. By doing so, they’ll sell their coveted charter too.

While we know that 23XI Racing is for sure after a charter for their new team for the No. 45 Toyota that will be driven by Kurt Busch, so is GMS Racing, it’s said to be that Spire will purchase this charter and have a second one back in their hands again.

Spire, originally had three cars but sold two of them to Kaulig Racing this past summer. Now, there’s a path for them to get another one back.

StarCom, started off in 2018. Landon Cassill was their driver that year. Quin Houff repalced him for the past two years.
