Loudon is a place to where the bests typically win. Since NASCAR became a one stop visit to New Hampshire, the winner of this race went onto the Championship 4 in all three years. But, there’s still be fluke winner paths in New Hampshire with Joey Logano, Brian Vickers and a few others to sneak their ways into victory lane.
If that’s going to happen in Sunday’s Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 (3 p.m. ET, NBCSN, PRN), then it would likely come from one of these five drivers.
Ryan Blaney
He’s quietly been good in New Hampshire. He was ninth in 2017, seventh in 2018, fourth in 2019 but 20th last year despite having a decent car. I think he’s one to watch on Sunday.
Tyler Reddick
He looks good this season and was 10th in this race last year.
Aric Almirola
Almirola, was fifth and sixth respectively with RPM in 2013 and 2014. He was third in 2018, 11th in 2019 and seventh last August.
Cole Custer
An eighth place run last year puts him on this list.
Erik Jones
He needs a win. Jones, has two top six finishes in his last four New Hampshire starts including a third place run in 2019. Almirola had a lot of success in this car too.
