Greg swept the weekend in Pocono with Alex Bowman’s triumph on Saturday and Kyle Busch’s on Sunday. That gives him seven wins now on the season as he inches closer to CJ following a big weekend.

He scored 425 points combined with Eric being second at 240. CJ was surprisingly the low total with 210 points as his lead over Eric is down to 150 and Greg is trailing by 475.

Now we go to Road America this Sunday without any past trends to look at since this is an inaugural race. Kyle Larson has seven top two finishes in his last eight season starts including a win in Sonoma and runner-up at COTA to make him a favorite.

Martin Truex Jr. is always good on road courses so despite his backslide, maybe this is his chance to catch up and pull away again?

Also, with Eric having the new road racing ace in Chase Elliott to go along with Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin, maybe this is his chance to close that gap again.
