This is a tough race to win if you don’t drive for one of the bigger teams in the sport. Penske, Ganassi and Andretti have each combined to win all six races here since 2016. Still, it’s an INDYCAR race, so anyone can win.
Here’s the top five sleepers.
Marcus Ericsson (+2000)
He was 10th in Race 1 and fourth in Race 2 last year. He’s with a Ganassi car too. He won last weekend.
Sebastien Bourdais (+3000)
He had a top 10 in Barber to go along with four podiums in six Road America tries.
Ryan Hunter-Reay (+3300)
Worth a bet here. Hunter-Reay has three top four finishes in five Road America tries.
Ed Jones (+6600)
He was seventh and ninth in two of his three Road America starts.
James Hinchcliffe (+8000)
He has a pair of top 10’s in his last two starts and you’re getting him for these odds. Run with it.
