Another busy week of racing announcements so far, here’s what you may have missed

Just when you think there couldn’t be much more to announce, the last seven week days have been crazy insane on the news front. Last week was another busy week in terms of motorsports. This week is already shaping up to be just as busy so far.

On Monday, we saw plenty of driver rides unveiled as Stefan Parsons will race the Xfinity Series season opener for BJ McLeod Motorsports. Alex Labbe was then announced as the driver for DGM in 2021. Ryan Vargas was announced as the driver of the No. 6 Chevrolet with JD Motorsports too. Factor in Jordan Anderson announcing his new NXS start up team and Rackley as a new Truck Series operation with Timothy Peters as the driver and you get a wild news day.

We also saw Scott McLaughlin announce that he has PPG as a sponsor for 10 races in 2021 with INDYCAR and NBC Sports announcing their Peacock deal and you get a busy Monday.

Tuesday was just as crazy.

Corey LaJoie and Austin Cindric announced a sponsors for the Daytona 500. Kurt Busch unveiled his Gear Wrench paint scheme. Niece showed off Brett Moffitt’s Daytona scheme. Ty Gibbs was announced as a driver on JGR’s No. 54 Toyota for the Xfinity Series operation. Gibbs will be part time as all four Cup drivers will drive this car at some point during the season as well.

Then you get Andretti Autosport announcing James Hinchcliffe as their fourth full time driver and you get another newsy day.

That’s just Monday and Tuesday so far.
