NASCAR has issued the starting lineup for Sunday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 (3 p.m. ET, NBCSN, PRN) early on Thursday.
Usually, it’s been customary for the lineup for the upcoming race weekend to get announced on Thursday night during RaceHub. But, with this being the NBC Sports’ official takeover for the rest of the season, NASCAR has revealed the starting lineup for Sunday’s race at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Aric Almirola will start on the pole for his fifth front row starting spot since Bristol. Ryan Blaney will lineup alongside in his No. 12 Ford. This is the third time the duo has shared the front row during the pandemic.
The Busch brothers will share Row 2. Kevin Harvick starts fifth.
