Kevin Harvick has four wins this season but he hasn’t had a lot of help among his Stewart-Haas Racing teammates. Until last Sunday that is.
Aric Almirola dominated early. He has a career long top 10 streak going. Cole Custer ended up becoming the first rookie winner since 2016.
Now, they are the ones to beat this weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Harvick, has 11 straight top 10 finishes at Texas. Among those are four top two finishes in his last five starts there. In the spring race, he has two runner-ups in the last five years.
Almirola and Clint Bowyer are solid sleepers too.
Bowyer, was second in this race a year ago. He has three straight top 11s there overall. With Stewart-Haas Racing, Almirola has three straight top 10 finishes including a seventh place run last spring and a runner up in the fall.
They went 2-7-8 in the spring and 1-2-11 last Fall.
