Sunday To Be A Historic Day For NASCAR With A Tripleheader at Pocono

This was already shaping up to be a historic weekend for NASCAR at the Pocono Raceway. For the first time in the modern era, the Cup Series was going to have a doubleheader format with two races on the same race track in consecutive days.

But, with the Truck Series’ race on Saturday getting rained out, it sets up a tripleheader day of racing on Sunday.

The Truck race was rescheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday. That’s the appetizer for the Xfinity Series Race that’s scheduled for 12:30 pm ET. The Cup Series then races at 4 pm ET.

All will be broadcast live on FS1, MRN.

This will mark the fifth time ever that all three national divisions will race on the same day but first on the same race track.
