We’re just a couple of weeks away from kicking off the 2020 NTT IndyCar Series as well as the Road To Indy Program too. On Thursday, HMD Motorsports announced that they have signed Canadian Antonio Serravalle as the driver of their No. 11 entry. He joins Santiago Urrutia (No. 55) and David Malukas (No. 79) with the presumed five car team in 2020.
So, who else is out there confirmed?
Andretti Autosport has signed three drivers so far with Robert Megennis returning to the No. 27 entry and rookies Kyle Kirkwood (No. 28) and Danial Frost (No. 68) joining the helm. The only other guaranteed driver is rookie Nikita Lastochkin with Exclusive Autosport.
So far, that’s seven full time drivers but Belardi Auto Racing has yet to name their driver lineup. Exclusive Autosport is speculated to bring a second car while Andretti could add a fourth entry too.
We could see upwards of 14 cars at some races.
The season starts on the streets of St. Pete the second full weekend of March.
