On Monday, Team Penske announced a crew chief swap with their alliance team at the Wood Brothers. Jeremy Bullins moves over to Harrison Burton’s No. 21 Ford effective immediately and will stay there through the 2024 season.
That keeps Burton in the ride for next season as it was rumored he could be in trouble. This announcement confirms he’s indeed staying.
As a result of this move, Brian Wilson will transition back over to Austin Cindric’s No. 2 Ford.
Wilson and Cindric were once together in ARCA and the Xfinity Series. Combined, they won the 2020 series title and accounted for 13 total wins together.
Now, they’re reunited.
Bullins was actually with the Wood Brothers for their last win with Ryan Blaney at Pocono in 2017. That was win No. 99. Can help help them get win No. 100?
Both drivers struggled this season hence the swap as they can spend the final 10 races learning from one another.
