On Tuesday morning, Arrow McLaren SP unveiled Fernando Alonso’s car for the 104th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on Aug. 23.
Alonso, will have new colors are he will pilot the Rouff Home Mortgage sponsorship. In his previous two Indy appearances, he had the papaya orange scheme. Now, it’s vastly different.
Alonso, started fifth as a rookie in 2017 and was in contention to win in the end before his engine failed him with 21 laps-to-go. He’d finish 24th as a result after leading four times for 27 laps.
The Spaniard came back last year with McLaren but it was failed effort which saw him miss the show.
Now, he’s back again hoping to complete the Triple Crown.
