Greg DePalma and Eric Smith (Race Review Online) discuss an unplanned suspension to the NASCAR Cup Series season that has turned out anything but quiet as what was supposed to be a lighthearted iRacing diversion has left Kyle Larson without a job. Larson was fired by Chip Ganassi Racing on Tuesday after uttering a racial slur during last Sunday’s iRacing contest. That came one week after Bubba Wallace lost his top sponsor when he “rage-quit” a virtual race. The real schedule currently calls for a restart on May 9 at Martinsville Speedway.
